Betsy V. from Washington DC; traveled to Argentina & Brazil

We truly loved our stay at Iguazu and thank you for the thoughtful arrangements. The falls and the surrounding park were exceptional; both Brazil side and Argentine side most worthwhile in their own way; the boat trip a wonderful thrill. The pacing was just right. We had a lovely cool lunch at the beautifully redone Hotel das Cataratas in Brazil. The bird park was all you said it would be. Our guide, Gabriel, was knowledgeable and considerate in all ways.
We liked the Sheraton just fine. The lounge/bar has the fantastic view, as does comfortable seating area and the pool, so we were happy not to have spend extra dollars for a cataract view room, as we really only slept there. I can see that folks on a romantic getaway or other "special"
occasion would want the front rooms, but we were happy with ours. We found the food was just fine with lots of choice and wonderful staff.
All in all a great experience and we were so very glad we did it.
BA was fun and fine. Very hot, pretty run down in places, but full of color and energy. I can't remember which of your restaurants we tried, as we had various recommendations, but we enjoyed the food everywhere.
I finally managed to get tickets to the opening night concert at Teatro Colon via internet at the Sheraton Iguazu! It was that Monday that they finally went on sale. Great experience, although a very hot night.
So .... thanks again for all of your help. We did feel that it would have been good to go south and regretted that we had locked in our airfare for the two weeks. But, one can't do everything.

We returned safely from WONDERFUL Guatemala. The trip was great, the organization on your side was perfect, as well as the execution by the local operator.
So to summarize, we enjoyed very much your service, and will strongly advise our friends to consult you before heading to Central America.

Michael W. from Pennsylvania; traveled to Argentina

Thanks so much for your planning expertise in making our recently completed trip to Argentina such a huge success. Your hotel selections, airline connections, and the pacing of our trip were superb. We especially liked the travel documents which you sent to us prior to the trip that gave in detail the summary of our daily activities. We would certainly use your services in the future when we revisit Latin America.

Bobby & Jane B. from Raleigh, NC; traveled to the Quito and the Galapagos Islands

We really enjoyed our trip to Ecuador. The highlight of course was our time in the Galapagos Islands. The islands are uniquely beautiful because they have been kept so pristine. Getting to see so many peculiar species and comparing them to their mainland cousins was like watching natural selection happen before our eyes. Special thanks to Spiced Destinations for making our itinerary truly special as well as hassle free.

Maria M. from San Francisco, CA; traveled to Peru

Just arrived from our trip to Peru. I want to thank you for making our trip hassle-free and very memorable. Aside from Machu Picchu which was the highlight of our trip, we enjoyed Cusco, Sacred Valley, Lima and all the other sights.
The hotel selection was great as well. The Inkaterra was definitely a very fine hotel. The food and service was excellent.
Although we only spent a week in Peru, it definitely felt like we were there for twice as long. We've seen and enjoyed a lot of places in so little time. We look forward to planning another trip back in the next few years and we will surely contact you when the time comes (of course, I'll recommend friends and family to you as well).

Linda & Dana C. from Windham, Maine; traveled to Peru

Thanks so much! We had an amazing time…. Our schedule in Peru was perfect and our guides were excellent. It felt great to be spoiled as we were met at the airports, train stations, etc.
Percy, our guide in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu was superb!! He is a top notch guide and we highly recommend him!!!!!!! He made sure to go the extra mile for everything and it was greatly appreciated. Everyone was extremely pleasant and the drivers were superb. Wilka Tika was an amazing place to stay. Although vegetarian (great for me), the food was excellent. Dana did not miss not having meat. I really wish we had an extra day there. Quite exceptional. By the way, they are the only hotel (including all the other 5 star hotels in the Sacred Valley) who actually have a septic system and refrain from polluting the sacred river (Wilka mayu: Sp??). Inka Terra was also tremendous!!!!!!!!! It was hard to leave both places.
I’d recommend the compamy to anyone and ask them to book through you. … You did a fantastic job and we had a tremendous time. Thanks again and take care, Linda

Gloria U. from Miami, FL; traveled to Peru

I must say that overall we are satisfied and happy with the trip and we brought back many, many wonderful memories.

About the hotels. Sol y Luna is beautiful. The cabins and the landscape are gorgeous.
The Casa Cartagena was very, very nice. An interesting combination of colonial and modern decor. Loved the courtyard and the view of the Cristo. The two floor suite was very comfortable and the service was very good.
Lake Titicaca and the Titilaka Lodge were fabulous! The lodge is a two hour drive from the airport and that can be tiring, but once you get there you fall in love with the place. It is beautifully located and it is a very comfortable and relaxing lodge. This is the kind of place where one can take one tour a day and then have the rest of the day at leisure, either to go kayaking, or mountain bike riding, or simply relaxing and / or enjoying the view. We wish we could have enjoyed an extra day there, instead we spent two nights, but only one full day to get as much done as we could. Have to go back someday!
If we were to travel to any of the destinations you work with, I would not hesitate to contact you again or recommend you to our friends.
Thanks again for everything and I hope to hear from you soon.

Ellen & Bennett G. from Westport, CT; traveled to Quito and the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

The trip was fabulous! It was surely one of the best vacations we have ever had. Seeing all of those rare animals, in this one of a kind place, was such a unique and amazing experience, especially for me, the daughter of very seasoned bird watchers! .. The ship was beautifully appointed and the service was great. Most of the guides were really good, with the exception of one or two who were difficult to understand and less adept at keeping the group focused than the others. We also loved the fact that we got so much exercise to counter all of the additional eating you do on a vacation. Also, the private guides we had in the cities were excellent.....Thank you so much for planning this wonderful trip for us... Anyway, we are back and looking forward to our next adventure, no more lazy, lying on the beach, vacations for us!

Susan S. & family, from Wilmington, DE; traveled to the Galapagos Islands and Quito, Ecuador

...the trip was wonderful. We enjoyed the tours in Quito; maybe would have liked another day to go to the volcano. THe Galapagos trip was so much fun, interesting, educational, but not the least bit relaxing (but that is ok. We did not go to relax.) They accomodations on the ship were perfect, the staff extremely accomodating, food very good and a great first experience for us on a cruise. We really liked the snorkeling trips. We went to all the Naturalist talks and enjoyed learning about the islands. The Naturalists are so knowledgeable! ...
