Mendoza
We will have a full day visiting some of the best wineries in Argentina and tasting their wines. This tour allows the visitors to learn about harvesting, the wine making process and the viticulture’s history in Mendoza. We will start at Bodega Alta Vista, a historic and restored winery with stunning underground cellars. Our next stop will be the Norton Winery where will enjoy an exclusive tour known as “Growing with the wine”. This will be a memorable experience where you will accompany the wine in its development from the fermentation tank to the bottle and you will taste the wine from the tanks, the casks and in the cellar of a wine in storage. Our last stop will be Belasco de Baquedano, where you will visit the “Hall of Aromas”, it is the only one of its kind and scale in the Americas. Valle de Uco
We begin our day with a guided tour of the world class Bodegas Salentein Winery and Killka, a spectacular private modern art museum featuring some of the owner's private collection. The architecture inside the winery is stunning! You will feel as if you have entered a cathedral of wine as the barrel room is laid out in a cross pattern around a mosaic compass rose. After a wine tasting we will return to the Salentein Inn for lunch. You will have the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure before having dinner at the Salentein Inn. (B, L, D)
Valle de Uco / Mendoza
After breakfast we depart the Salentein Inn and journey towards Andeluna, which is a winery and vineyard rich with history. The name was chosen to symbolize the romance of the Argentine moon illuminating the magnificent Andes Mountains that frame the Uco Valley near the town of Tupungato. After our visit we continue towards Atamisque. This winery was designed in tune with the laws of gravity, which allows the vinification process to flow naturally to each stage without having to use pumps. After enjoying a trout lunch at Rincon Atamisque you will be transferred to the Mendoza Airport for your departure flight. (B, L)
Note: Important note, the wineries and its order can change according to availability.
