The Vessel
Aria Amazon is a refined 147 ft river expedition ship, designed by Birgit Galli Zugaro and fully refurbished in 2024. With space for only 32 guests and a dedicated crew that includes a Cruise Director, a Health and Safety Officer, and naturalist guides, the atmosphere feels intimate and attentive throughout the journey.
Suites
Sixteen spacious Design Suites measure 250 sq ft and feature floor to ceiling windows that frame the Amazon’s rainforest and rivers. Each suite offers a California king bed that can convert into twins, an en suite sitting area, and thoughtful details for a comfortable stay. Interconnecting suites are available for families or guests who want extra space.
Dining and Lounges
The indoor dining room highlights fresh Amazon inspired cuisine. Guests can relax in indoor and outdoor lounges, enjoy the open air on the observation deck, or take in the scenery from the jacuzzi between excursions.
Excursions
Twice daily outings explore the Amazon in small groups of no more than eight guests. Four aluminum skiffs with low emission engines bring travelers into quiet waterways and wildlife rich areas. Six kayaks are also available for guided adventures on the river.
Wellness and Services
Aria Amazon features a massage room, an exercise room, a boutique, central air conditioning, and complimentary high speed Wi Fi. All meals, non alcoholic beverages, and the entrance fee to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve are included.
Safety
The vessel meets International Safety Management standards and carries satellite communication, life rafts, Carley floats, life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors in suites and social spaces.
