Jabulani Safari is located within the private Kapama Reserve near Kruger National Park, surrounded by open savannah, riverbeds, acacia woodland, and seasonal waterholes that attract wildlife throughout the year. Elevated wooden walkways connect the lodge through the bushveld landscape, creating a strong sense of immersion in the surrounding wilderness while maintaining an atmosphere of privacy and tranquility.
Wildlife Experience
The reserve offers excellent Big Five safari experiences, with lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and a wide variety of antelope species regularly encountered during game drives. Jabulani is especially known for its historic relationship with a rescued elephant herd, originally established through the HERD Trust conservation initiative. The safari experience combines traditional wildlife viewing with deeper insight into elephant conservation and the surrounding ecosystem.

Access
Jabulani Safari is accessed via scheduled or charter flights from Johannesburg to nearby Hoedspruit Airport followed by a short road transfer into the reserve. Overland transfers are also possible through the Greater Kruger region, gradually transitioning from the landscapes of Mpumalanga into the bushveld surrounding Kapama.
