Kibale Lodge is set on a ridge overlooking the forests, crater lakes, and rolling hills surrounding Kibale National Park in western Uganda. The lodge enjoys sweeping views across tea plantations and distant mountain landscapes, while the nearby rainforest creates a rich and vibrant natural setting filled with birdsong and misty morning light. The atmosphere feels peaceful and elevated, combining the lush scenery of Uganda’s highlands with easy access to the forest.
Wildlife Experience
Kibale National Park is best known for its chimpanzee trekking experiences and extraordinary primate diversity. In addition to habituated chimpanzees, the forest is home to several monkey species, forest birds, butterflies, and a wide variety of plant life. Guided forest walks offer immersive encounters within one of East Africa’s richest rainforest ecosystems, while the surrounding crater lake region adds further scenic and ecological diversity.

Access
Kibale Lodge is reached by scenic road transfer from Entebbe or via domestic flight to nearby airstrips followed by a road transfer through western Uganda’s rolling hills and tea plantations. The journey itself offers a gradual transition into the lush highland landscapes surrounding Kibale Forest.
