Location & Landscape
Siringit Tarangire Camp is located inside Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania. The camp overlooks distant floodplains within a landscape shaped by open savannah, seasonal wetlands, ancient baobab trees, and the. The Tarangire River draws wildlife through the region, particularly during the dry season, while the camp’s secluded position creates a strong sense of immersion in the wilderness.
Wildlife Experience
Tarangire is especially celebrated for its large elephant herds and remarkable concentration of baobab trees. Game drives may also reveal lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species. The park is also home to exceptional birdlife, with hundreds of recorded species inhabiting its riverbanks, woodlands, grasslands, and seasonal swamps.
Accommodation
The camp features only eight luxury tented suites, including one interconnecting family suite. Each tent is positioned on a wooden platform raised approximately 1.5 meters above the ground and includes a private deck overlooking the floodplains. Spacious ensuite bathrooms feature double vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, and flush toilets, providing modern comfort while maintaining a close connection to the surrounding landscape.
Design & Atmosphere
Opened in June 2026, Siringit Tarangire presents a contemporary interpretation of the classic tented safari camp. Elevated canvas suites, natural materials, spacious decks, and open views connect the design to the surrounding wilderness. A separate lounge and dining tent, dedicated bar, firepit, and stargazing area create an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere centered around the safari experience.
Activities & Experiences
Guests can explore Tarangire on day and night game drives or join guided bush walks for a closer look at the landscape, animal tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife. Time at camp can be spent relaxing beside the swimming pool, exercising in the fully equipped gym, enjoying sundowners, or gathering around the firepit beneath the stars. Dining menus have been developed for the Siringit Collection by a Michelin-starred chef.
Access
Siringit Tarangire Camp is approximately a 40-minute drive south of Kuro Airstrip, which receives scheduled flights from Arusha and other destinations on Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. The camp can also be reached by road from Arusha in approximately 3.5 hours, depending on road and park conditions.
