The Wallow Lodge is set within a private wildlife concession bordering Victoria Falls National Park, surrounded by riverine forest, open bushveld, and the seasonal Masuwe River. Elevated walkways wind through the trees above the riverbed, creating a setting that feels peaceful and immersive while remaining within easy reach of Victoria Falls. The landscape combines quiet wilderness with easy access to one of Africa’s most iconic natural landmarks.
Wildlife Experience
The private concession supports a variety of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope, and abundant birdlife. Wildlife is frequently seen moving through the area around camp, particularly along the riverbed and nearby water sources. The lodge’s location also allows guests to combine safari activities with river experiences and visits to Victoria Falls, creating a varied and rewarding stay.

The Wallow Lodge features elevated luxury tented suites positioned privately beneath the trees overlooking the Masuwe River. Each suite combines canvas safari styling with contemporary comforts, including spacious viewing decks, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, lounge areas, and large openings designed to maximize the connection to the surrounding bush. Access
The Wallow Lodge is located approximately 20 minutes by road from Victoria Falls town and airport. The transfer into the private concession gradually transitions from the activity of town into a quieter wilderness setting, allowing guests to quickly settle into the rhythm of the bush upon arrival.
