Our Kenya trip in August 2025 was absolutely incredible. Everything ran seamlessly, and every detail seemed to be taken care of before we even thought about it. Mara Nyika was the highlight for us. We loved the intimate atmosphere, beautiful setting, warm staff, and fantastic game drives. Sitting around the camp in the evening, talking about what we had seen that day, was something we’ll never forget.

Now we understand what all the buzz about Iceland is about! What a country. Our favorite adventure was heading out on ATVs into the wilderness and not seeing another person for almost three hours. And Thor, our amazing, funny, singing guide, made the entire experience even better. Thank you, Thor, for making Iceland so memorable for our family. We’re already planning to come back in winter to see it all frozen!

Bhutan was truly the trip of a lifetime. We went looking for a beautiful country and came home with something much deeper. The monasteries, the people, the prayers, and the incredible sense of peace touched us profoundly. We are still trying to digest everything we experienced. And oh! We didn’t expect the food to be so good! ;-)

Morocco with the girls: too much food, too much shopping, too many carpets we absolutely did NOT need, and possibly too much wine! 😂 We laughed our way from Marrakech to the Sahara and came home with full suitcases, great stories, and a serious desire to go back. Best girls’ trip ever!

Africa was unlike any trip I have ever been on. It was stark but also amazingly beautiful at the same time. We had a great time. We saw so many animals. It was spectacular. Savute and Namxsari were our favorites. At Savute an elephant had died so we were able to see the circle of life in action. We saw three leopards, two males and one female. All the guides were a buzz because the female was mating with both males.
We were so glad that you recommended the rhino walk. It was great.
All of the lodges were fantastic in their own way. They definitely had their own niche and the level of service was not what I expected to have. Wow!

I just returned from a six day excursion to Peru, including Machu Picchu. It was an unforgettable experience largely thanks to our exceptional tour guide Eddie. He was very knowledgeable which made our exploration of Machu Picchu particularly memorable. He was always prompt ensuring that our schedule ran smoothly. And despite the sometimes challenging terrain, we always felt safe.
We would highly recommend Eddie and Spice Destinations to anyone looking to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Abdul was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, connected, and thoughtful and went beyond his responsibilities to ensure that we had as perfect a trip as possible. Torfus house was unbelievable. A must-recommend.
ATV guide was outstanding and the entire family agreed with his trip and knowledge of the glaciers, etc and lunch of salad and fresh lamb over open fire and dessert was a show stopper. It was the best meal of our trip and the best experience. I strongly recommend going with the guide.
Vic apartments were new clean modern units. Vic area and restaurants also cool.
Kayaking was a really neat trip, despite the weather, as we had fog roll in, which impacted our ability to see and navigate but that’s Iceland.
Radisson Blu was a good location and in the heart of old town but was also an oasis for good food and drinks away from the “tourists”
All in all great experience and thank you for putting it together. This was a trip we will never forget.

Our trip was amazing! Our guides all around were great, very helpful and everything went as planned. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursions to the various places, the hotels were all amazing the food was just spectacular. And to top it off, the service, people and local guiding we had at each location really enhanced our overall experience. I would highly recommend not only Ecuador - but to go with Spiced Destinations for a memorable experience.

Grateful to have a guide and driver etc. need them in many of these places...loved the chocolate experience...it was super cool – loved the hands-on aspect of the project. The Cooking class in Lima was a highlight as was the pottery class where they met the sculptor which was a nice surprise. The Gastronomy tour guide was fun hip knowledgeable. Really fun time going to market. Wanted to adopt him! Salt mines were fantastic. Had a great time doing that. The guide was great. The Lunch at hacienda was really special- would have never known that existed because it’s so tucked away.
